12-lead Holter ECG
Comprehensive monitoring of your heart's electrical activity for 24 to 48 hours, while you go about your normal routine. Twelve leads give the cardiologist a full, accurate picture, far beyond a regular ECG or a standard Holter.
Why 12 leads?
A regular ECG only shows a snapshot of a few minutes. A standard Holter records over time, but only on 3 leads. A 12-lead Holter combines both: continuous recording over one or two days, with the full picture of a 12-lead ECG.
| Regular ECG | Standard Holter | 12-lead Holter | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duration | A few minutes | 24–48 hours | 24–48 hours |
| Leads | 12 | 3 | 12 |
| What it shows | A snapshot at the clinic | Heart rhythm through the day | Heart rhythm through the day, plus where arrhythmias start and silent ischemia |
What a 12-lead Holter makes possible
- Accurate, targeted diagnosis of where arrhythmias originate
- Detection of silent ischemia, which happens without symptoms
- Signs of structural changes in the heart that show on the ECG
Device advantages
Compact and discreet
The device weighs under 50 g and is connected with discreet electrodes. You can work, walk and sleep as usual throughout the monitoring.
Quality check at installation
The device has a screen that shows the ECG waveform in real time, so we confirm the electrodes are placed correctly and the signal is clean before you leave.
Advanced computer analysis
The analysis software detects arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and premature beats, and also shows heart rate variability (HRV).
Interpreted by expert cardiologists
Expert cardiologists interpret the recording, giving a full and accurate clinical picture that helps your doctor make the right treatment decisions.

How does it work?

Who is this test for?
The test is done with a doctor's referral. It is especially useful for:
- Palpitations, skipped beats or premature beats, when it matters where they start
- Chest pain or discomfort, and suspected ischemia
- Unexplained dizziness or fainting
- A standard Holter that didn't give a clear answer
- Follow-up of treatment for heart disease or arrhythmia
